Katie and Jared's wedding design started with a phone call with their planner, Brooke, from C&D Events. We talked through a playful, color scheme of light pink, peach, and baby blue. That was the perfect sherbet punch palette for a warm August day. We created a welcome sign with flower box, layered, colorful boxes with acrylic for a beautiful seating chart, and sticking with the layered look, a two piece bar sign with a little lime illustration for their specialty cocktails. For the reception, we used our white on white acrylic table numbers. We also made monochromatic menus and place cards complete with a white ribbon to tie them together. We did three different sets (blue, pink, and peach) and had a layout that varied the menu color throughout the room. Alongside the florals from Lilac Floral Decor, the menus were the perfect pop of color on an otherwise all white and beige table scape. To top of the night, we also created a three pedestal display for the cake, by Bestow Baked Goods, and additional floral arrangements with the couple's wedding crest. This wedding was only made more perfect by the gorgeous late summer weather at Rose Hill Estate. All of these beautiful scenes were expertly captured by Tanika Jane Photography.
